JuneFest is a festival celebrating diversity in children’s publishing.
The idea behind JuneFest from the very beginning has been to bring Independent Publishers together in order to create a diverse and inclusive children’s books festival as a collective. We want this event to amplify those who work hard for diversity.
It is coordinated by Alanna Max in conjunction with the Stroud Green and Harringay Library and features a line up of 13 author and illustrator events during the month of June. They will deliver a month-long, fun and free programme of book readings, workshops and entertainment featuring internationally known authors, illustrators & poets from some of the best UK-based independent childrens books publishers
The events will range from early years to older readers, poetry and educational content (Reception to Year 6).
Authors and illustrators will be signing books after their events and books will be on sale.
Books from the publishers will be available to buy every Saturday of June starting from the 6th. Open to public 11am-15pm at Stroud Green and Harringay Library
